Abstract: When migrating the corporate software portfolio to Service Oriented Architecture there are many challenges. The obvious one comes from the legacy of hardware platforms and older software models. This report explores how the special characteristics of Object Management Group's (OMG's) Model Driven Architecture (MDA) addresses this challenge by ensuring that new code and integration work is consistent with Service Oriented Architecture.
