Abstract: ICT providers are currently introducing significant enhancements to real time infrastructure management capabilities to increase flexibility and control through policy driven resource management and service oriented architecture. Most major enterprises are also adopting service oriented architecture and restructuring their existing application resources to support real time business level services.

The convergence of SOA and real time ICT infrastructure will make utility provisioning of end to end business services management viable. This report identifies the Business Service Network as an important trend and assesses the strategic implications for enterprises.
