The eSCM framework is a set of best practices and capability model for
outsourced service providers and their customers. It addresses the question
of how providers and consumers can organize, manage and measure outsourced
IT intensive business processes in a structured manner. The framework is
generic and can be used for a range of services spanning traditional IT
deliveries to business process outsourcing. In this report we explore how
the framework can be used in a complementary manner with CBDI-SAETM and
ITIL to increase the quality of delivered and consumed services.

However, in these days of ever increasing levels of outsourcing and ever so
careful cost control, having a sound basis on which to estimate the
resources and effort required becomes paramount. Starting in this report,
we begin to document some project management templates to support SOA
activities and to provide guidelines for estimating the resources required.
